The Town of Hampton, NH requests sealed written bid proposals from qualified, State and or Federally licensed solid waste management facilities to receive and dispose of construction and demolition debris ("C&D" herein) waste generated by residential small commercial sources within the Town and collected at the Town's transfer station. The duration of the contract will be from January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2026. All inquiries regarding the bid document, bid procedure, and any technical aspect may be directed to Jennifer Hale, PE - Public Works Director. All inquiries shall be in writing and submitted by mail or email to jhale@hamptonnh.gov. Inquiries submitted less than 48 hours prior to the bid opening will not be responded to. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any part thereof, to waive any informality in the bidding process, and to accept the bid proposal considered to be in the best interest of the Town. In the event that the Contractor refuses to transport and dispose C&D waste that meets the definition of C&D waste herein, the Contractor shall pay the Town as liquidated damages the additional disposal fee paid by the Town to an alternate location plus the additional transport cost to and from the alternate disposal facility on the basis of $8.00 per mile.
