The Town of Hampton, NH requests sealed written bids from qualified Contractors for snow plowing equipment with operators for snow plowing services of Town roads and for the removal of the snow from the Town for the winter season of 2023-2024 on an as-needed basis. Upon the execution of the Contract, services shall be available until April 15, 2024, subject to the provisions contained in Section V. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES The contract as awarded contains a liquidated damages clause to the effect that there shall be a one hundred ($100.00) dollar per event charge if the deployment of the Contractor's personnel, vehicles and equipment takes longer than the sixty (60) minutes allowed for that event under Section VI. Schedule of Work; the liquidated damages shall be deducted from the progress payment for the period billed in which the deployment occurred that took longer than the aforesaid sixty (60) minutes allowed, time being of the essence.
