1 SCOPE: Contractor agrees and undertakes to demolish and remove the structures and debris at 31 SCHOOL STREET in its entirety, including complete removal and breaking up the foundation, slab, and any under structure found and removing as needed; and additionally, as part of the project as summarized: Structural Fill applied and compacted in 12 in lifts to match the natural grade of the surroundings in the base bid. Special Attention: - Directed to dust control requirement; - Securing of property during demolition and removal; - Comply with Town Demolition Protocol - Appendix "A"; and - Site map - Appendix "B" - Property description - Appendix "C" The Town is hiring a separate vendor for the purpose of Hazardous Materials abatement at this site and documents relating to that will be provided to the winning demolition vendor. All fees due to the Town of Ogunquit for this project such as building permits will be waived. The selected vendor will be responsible for any state and or federal permitting and fees as required. The Town of Ogunquit reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. Please use a sealed envelope with "Ogunquit Village School Demolition" clearly written on the envelope when submitting your bid. Three (3) hard copies and one (1) digital copy (USB drive) are required to be submitted. The BID MOST ADVANTAGEOUS TO THE TOWN - Not necessarily the low bid; in addition to price, the quality of the commodity, the bid meeting Town specifications, the commodity's warrantee, speed of delivery, and the demonstrated service record of the vendor must be considered in determining the bid most advantageous to the Town.
