The County of Berrien (OWNER) requests BID PROPOSALs for the Historical Complex Boardwalk Replacement and Fence Repair at 313 N Cass St, Berrien Springs, MI 49103. Questions will be accepted in writing to Christian Bacchiocchi, PROJECT MANAGER, OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE, Bacchiocchi Construction Services, Inc. (e-mail christian@bacchiocchicsi.com) until October 10th at 5 PM local time. A written response will be included in an ADDENDUM to be prepared by the OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE and sent to all BIDDERS via e-mail. BIDDERS to create an account with The Builder's Exchange, in order to express interest and stay upto-date on potential changes or ADDENDA. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to Berrien County of Michigan or a satisfactory BID bond executed by the BIDDER and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent (5%) of the BID shall be submitted with each WORK PACKAGE BID over $100,000. The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price, for all projects over $50,000.
