This project primarily involves renovating and re-paving the pedestrian pathway and running trail around the north perimeter of Lake Merced in San Francisco. This project will improve usability and accessibility of the existing asphalt pathway and adjacent running trail that are used and enjoyed by the public daily. Site improvements include but are not limited to demolition, grading, compaction, asphalt paving, concrete paving, soil stabilized trail paving, new steel pipe bollards with stainless steel rails, installation of new site furnishings including a new drinking fountain and water meter installation and installation of new parcourse exercise equipment, signage, and installation of soldier beam retaining walls (bid alternate) and new trees with irrigation via gator bags. Contract Duration: 174 consecutive calendar days from NTP to Substantial Completion. LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 25% LBE.
