Scope of Work This Contract is for the Construction of Several Rain Garden Stormwater Control Facilities at the Specified Locations in Mount Rainier Identified Above and Detailed on the Attached Construction Plans. The Scope of Work Includes the Following Activities: O Providing Traffic Maintenance and Control as Needed O Installation of Curb Cuts as Shown on Plans O Installation of Specified Rain Gardens as Shown on Plans 3. Curb Cuts The Contractor is Required to Install Twenty (20) Curb Cuts as Shown on the Construction Plans. 4. Rain Gardens 4.1 the Rain Gardens Will Be Constructed Following the Guidance and Details Provided in the Construction Plans, Details and Notes Included With This Rfp. 4.2 Native Soil Enhancement. After the Rain Garden Site Has Been Excavated to the Specified Depth the Remaining Native Soil Will Be Enhanced Using the Following Procedure. A. the Specified Soil Fertilizer Will Be Spread Evenly Over the Surface of the Soil. B. Three (3) Inches of Mature Compost Organic Material Will Be Spread Over the Surface of the Soil. (Pine Fines and Composted Leaf Mulch Are Acceptable Organic Material. Any Other Organics Will Require Approval by the Project Landscape Architect or Project Engineer). C. the Materials Described in Subsections a. And B. Above Will Be Deep Mixed Into the Native Soil Using a Ditch With a Minimum 2-foot Depth Bid date was extended indefinitely.
