Site work for a mixed-use development in Claxton, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
As of January 3, 2024 this project was awarded to Awarded to Adams-Warnock, Inc with the awarded amount of $503,394.85. The project will consist of the construction of 1500 LF of rail, the rerouting of water and gas main along Bill Hodges Road, construction of an access road to the Phase 1 rail extension including, but not limited to, installation of 271 LF of 8" water main, 25 LF of 2" water line, and 116 LF of natural gas main. The project will further consist of erosion and sediment control, and grassing. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. All bonds shall be by a surety company licensed in Georgia with an "A" minimum rating of performance and a financial strength of at least five (5) times the contract price as listed in the most current publication of "Best's Key Rating Guide Property Liability". Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful bidder if contract is awarded. Each Bond shall be accompanied by a "Power of Attorney" authorizing the attorney-in-fact to bind the surety and certified to include the date of the bond. Time allotted for completion of work is one hundred eighty (180) calendar days. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities Question Deadline 11/22/2023 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer.
