The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a contract with a qualified, experienced vendor to provide all labor, materials, and supervision to perform the scope of work described herein at Occoneechee State Park, 1192 Occoneechee Park Rd., Clarksville, VA 23927 Site Visit is Required - See IFB for detailes All Inquiries for Information Should Be Directed To: Corey Richie, Procurement Officer at corey.richie@dcr.virginia.gov , 804-944-7578. All questions must be received via email by 5:00 PM onNovember 21, 2023. All questions must be in writing and will be answered in writing, by email or addendum. Description of Work: a. Contractor shall remove all driftwood debris as well as any trees/woody growth from the work area and haul offsite. b. Contractor must ensure the rip rap lays at a 2:1 slope on the shoreline. c. Contractor will lay new geotextile fabric to be anchored per manufacture's recommendations. d. Contractor must install new class 1 and 2 rip rap along the hardened area measuring approximately 475 foot x 28 foot. e. Contractor must repair any areas of turf disturbed by equipment during this work by reseeding and strawing the area down.
