The initial term of the contract shall be for three (3) years from the date of award. The Village reserves the right to renew this contract for three (3) additional one (1) year periods or an additional three (3) year period, subject to acceptable performance by the Contractor. At the end of any contract term, the Village reserves the right to extend this contract for a period of up to sixty (60) days for the purpose of getting a new contract in place. Scope of work will include parking deck cleaning at two municipal parking garages located in the Glen Town Center. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The successful bidder must furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond in the full amount of the bid. All work under this contract shall comply with the Prevailing Wage Act of the State of Illinois, 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq. & the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570/0.01 et. seq) if applicable. The Village of Glenview reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bid procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the Village.
