Location: Jubilee College State Park 13921 West Route 150 Brimfield, Il 61517 Project Narrative: Jubiliee College State Park is Owned and Operated by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (Dnr) in Peoria County. The Existing Well Serving Potable Water to the Office and Maintenance Buildings Has Failed. Repair of the Well or Drilling a New Well in the Same Location Are Not Practical or Cost-effective Options, However a Second Existing Well is Located at a Shelter Area Relatively Nearby. Dnr is Seeking Bids to Restore Water Service to the Office and Maintenance Buildings by Installing a New Waterline From Well House #2 to the Well #1 Location. Scope of Work: This Project Will Include the Sealing of the Existing Well, Rehabilitating the Plumbing and Wiring in Well House #2, Installing a New 1 1/2 " Hdpe Water Line From Well House #2 to Well #1, Site Restoration and Erosion Control. Herein After the Terms "Owner", "ownership", "department", "Engineer", or Any Derivatives of Such, Shall Mean the Illinois Department of Natural Resources or Its Designated Representative and the Term "Contractor" Shall Mean the Entity Who Proposes to Perform the Work Herein Described or Its Designated Subcontractors. Once All Construction is Complete, the Contractor is Required to Clean-up and Dispose of All Construction Debris at an Authorized Off-site Disposal Facility. Project Specifications: 1) Construction Inspection Any Work Performed Without the Presence of an Owner's Designated Representative to Inspect Said Construction Shall Not Be Accepted for Payment as Directed by the Owner. Contractor Shall Notify Ownership a Minimum of 24 Hours in Advance of the Start of Construction or the Continuation of Construction Following a Pause in Work. 2) if, in the Opinion of the Contractor, Any Part of the Specifications or Drawing(S) Does Not Comply With the Laws, Codes, Regulations, and Specifications; That Matter Shall Be Referred to the Attention of the Architect/engineer for a Decision Before Proceeding With That Part of the Work.
