The Montrose Recreation District, hereinafter referred to as the MRD, is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced professional consultants with backgrounds in recreation, architecture, landscape architecture and design, engineering and similar professions to provide services related to an comprehensive site master plan of the Montrose Field House and Outdoor Pool. The intent of this request for proposal is to retain a firm/consultant to develop options for a comprehensive site master plan that will guide the MRD and community stakeholders toward a clearly defined vision for the site, including the development and redevelopment of the Field House facility and property. The planning process will ideally include: needs assessment with conclusions drawn from and correlating to the 2021 MRD Comprehensive Master & Strategic Plan; visioning, identifying and evaluating community needs, priorities, and opportunities; defining the level of service standards and maintenance obligations in recommended design; creating phased implementation as needed; and a financial plan. This Agreement consists of this document, the Request for Proposal, Field House Site Master Plan together with any additional information and addendum provided by the Owner relating thereto.
