Renovation of a residential development in Bradford, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

This project includes the following items: Remove and replace the front porch to include 6x6 wood posts on concrete piers and footings, new wood floor framing and plywood flooring; new door & vinyl window. Remove and replace the real' porch to include concrete footings, foundation walls and concrete slab with concrete stairs. New aluminum railings, wood framing and plywood sheathing. Remove and replace roofing, gutters and downspouts. New aluminum vented soffits and install 5 new concrete splash pads. Prep, prime and paint existing siding. Add Alternate Bid Item - New Siding. Remove existing wood siding and install new vinyl siding and weather resistant barrier. This list is not all inclusive. The Scope of work in the bid packet will provide additional details. In order to submit a bid, copies of the specifications and documents to submit must be requested by contacting the Redevelopment Authority. Bids should be submitted to MCRA in a sealed envelope with "Contractor Bid for #2023-009" written on the outside of the envelope. The Successful Bidder shall be required to provide a lead base paint training certification, be a registered home improvement contractor with the Attorney General's Office, and have the required insurance information. The Redevelopment Authority requires the successful Contractor to provide either a 10% Performance Bond, 10% Letter of Credit from a bank or 10% Business Check based on the amount of the awarded bid amount. This bid guarantee will be returned upon completion of the project. Prevailing Wage Rates must be paid on this job for all bids over $25,000. The McKean County Redevelopment Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding process.
