Renovation of a library in West Tisbury, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Full replacement of HVAC system to an air to water system at the Free Public Library. Estimated Construction Cost $1,000,000 Time Period for Completed Project Six months. The Town of West Tisbury is a community of roughly 3,300 residents located in Dukes County, Massachusetts on the island of Marthas Vineyard. The West Tisbury Free Public Library serves the residents of our town as well as residents and visitors of the island. The building is in the historic district, and located on the same lot as the Council on Aging and a leased art gallery. The Facilities Committee has hired a designer to complete the design and bid documents for the complete replacement of the HVAC system with an air to water system. The current HVAC system, installed during the Library renovation in 2012 has a variety of issues, not least of which is a failure of the reflock fittings. All inquiries received by November 29, 2023 will be considered. Questions may be delivered, mailed, or emailed; email is preferred. Written responses will be mailed, or emailed to all applicants on record as having received the RFQ. All inquiries must be submitted to the Town Administrator/Chief Procurement Officer.
