Site work for a mixed-use development in Calgary, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
A life-cycle upgrade is required to the surface layer of the turf at the Ernest Manning field. The e-layer is also to be inspected for its condition when the surface layer is removed and replaced if required. The E-layer is approx 12 years old and should have a 25 year lifespan. Once the top layer of turf is removed, the contractor must inspect the E-layer condition to determine if replacement ,or possible patchwork will be required by the contractor.
