Site work for a water / sewer project in Preston, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work includes the replacement of 250 residential and commercial water meters, 3 (4 ) commercial meters, and 4 flow meters on the Town s wells. The work also includes implementation of an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system including cellular collector, battery operated repeater, and other system components required for AMI implementation. This project will be a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) and Water Supply Grant (WSG) funded project. The right is reserved as the interest of the Town of Secretary may appear, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality or irregularity in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bid. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids on this contract and will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin or sex in consideration of this award. All CONTRACTORS are required to adhere to Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) M/WBE requirements for M/WBE participation. All BIDDERS must use to the greatest extent feasible minority, women, and/or disadvantaged businesses and will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, or sex in considering businesses for subcontracting and/or material/equipment supplies.
