Site work for a water / sewer project in Preston, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The County Commissioners of Caroline County are accepting bids (written quotes) for the Choptank Marina Sea Wall and Pier Replacement Project. The scope of this contract includes but is not limited to: Construction of a new replacement seawall around the east and southeast portions of the existing marina, demolition and disposal of the existing seawall, perimeter and center piers, finger piers and piles, and construction of new piers and mooring piles. Questions regarding this RFP should be directed to Jamie Beechey, Director of Recreation and Parks, at 410-479-8120 or by email at jbeechey@carolinemd.org by noon on April 22, 2025. Time is of the essence in the execution of each project. Work cannot commence before June 15, 2025, and all work must be completed by January 15, 2026. The order of construction shall be: 1. Sea Wall: Construction shall start after June 15, 2025. (Boats will be IN the water) 2. Finger Pier: Construction shall start after October 1, 2025. (Boats will be OUT of the water)
