Parking Lot Facility Snow Removal Service for the MDOT/SHA District 1 Office Small Business Reserve Designation Yes This work consists of providing Snow removal services at the SHA District 1 Office facility at 660 West Rd., Salisbury MD 21801 for a period of 24 months beginning approximately December 15, 2023. This contract is not for snow removal on public roadways. Vendors are responsible for assuring that their bids are delivered to the specified location before the deadline for receipt of bids, including those delivered by U.S. Postal Service. Oral, fax, telegraphic, mailgram or E-mail bids will not be accepted. No pre-bid conference will be held. All questions before or after bid opening may be directed to the procurement officer designee Ms. Diane Kutskel at the District office. A site visit to review conditions at the facility is highly encouraged prior to bidding. Prices submitted in response to this solicitation are irrevocable for ninety (90) days following the due date. The Procurement Officer may, however, request vendors to extend the time during which the State may accept their bids. Once a bid is accepted, all prices, terms, and conditions shall remain unchanged throughout the contract period. This solicitation shall be conducted in accordance with COMAR 21.05.07 - Small Procurement Regulations ($50,000 or Less). Contractor or management of contractor should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in providing similar services. The successful contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, tools, transportation, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all work in accordance with this specification and scope of work in the manner called for, and to the satisfaction of the State Highway Administration. Vendor to use best practices established in the lawn care industry to perform this work. All work to be done in a safe manner, adhering to OSHA and MOSH regulations and standards. Vendor shall be licensed to perform work in the State of Maryland. Contract is expected to be from the dates of 12/15/2023 - 12/14/2025
