2023 Guilford Elementary School Select Window Replacement Project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bid. Scope of Work: Project involves the demolition and installation of new windows, sills, and interior trim where removals have taken place. The GC contractor will also be responsible for weatherizing and securing openings window removals behind a demo/abatement contractor, under separate contract. The GC shall coordinate with the abatement contractor and their work regarding schedule. The Contractor will commence the work required by the Contract Documents on or around mid-January 2024, contingent upon School Board Approval and AOE project approval determination. Note, actual demolition and window installation will start on June 21, 2024. Completion date is August 12, 2024. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder Funding: The project follows federal procurement requirements 2 CFR 200.318-327.
