SCOPE OF WORK: The location is on Town Highway 1, known as Guilford Center Road, from approximately 500' east of the intersection of Weatherhead Hollow Road approximately two miles west to the Old Town Garage. The ending location may be adjusted based on the awarded price per ton cost as each project has a monetary limit. The project consists of milled and tapered starting and stopping points and ending project tapers, (a full-width shim of 1 inch and an overlay with 1 inch of 50 Gyration Superpave mix design with 70-28 PG binder) of full virgin material mix. Project completion is to be no later than 15 October 2025. No paving will be completed after 15 October 2025 without prior written consent of James Freeman, Guilford Highway Commissioner. The Town of Guilford reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to cancel the RFP at any time as best meets the needs and interests of the Town.
