Site work for a municipal facility in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of each Contract Bid, not to exceed $20,000. Surety shall be made payable to: Borough of Seaside Heights, and shall be without condition or qualification. All Bidders shall be required to comply with Chapter 127, P.L. 1975, c. 127, requiring each Bidder and each Subcontractor to formulate and submit to the proper authorized representative of the State of New Jersey an Affirmative Action Program of equal opportunity which guarantees minorities employment in all categories. The work of this Contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following:--Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. Seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. 1 Construction of a new fence shall include but not be limited to the following work; Removal of +/-690LF of existing fence structure, installation of +/- 690LF new 6' high chain link fence and various gates, including all labor, materials and equipment necessary and incidental thereto. Each Proposal must be submitted utilizing the forms contained within the Contract Documents. It must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the BIDDER, his address and name of Project(s) for which the Bid is submitted. Materials to be contained within the sealed envelope are specified under "Instructions to Bidders." Bid Proposals shall be complete, in ink, and any Bids incomplete or not submitted in a sealed, specially addressed envelope may be considered informal. Bid documents cannot be obtained at the Seaside Heights Borough Municipal Building or at Van Cleefs office. The printing costs not refundable. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. Seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. All Bidders must also comply with the Prevailing Wage Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq. and the N.J.S.A. 34:1 B-5.1, Chapter 150, Laws of 1963. The Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all Bids, if it is in the public interest to do so. If the Bidder is a Corporation or a Partnership, the Bidder, in conformance with Chapter 33, P.L. 1977, shall submit with his Bid, a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all stockholders who own a 10 percent or greater interest in the firm.
