Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of April 5, 2024, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $309,613.13** The work of this contract includes, but is Not necessarily limited to the following: roadway milling and paving of barnegat avenue consists of Removal/replacement of approximately 625 lf concrete curb, 213 sy concrete sidewalk, 33 sy driveway aprons And replacement of 17 concrete handicap ramps where necessary; pavement reconstruction including Approximately 9,862 sy varying depth milling; gravel base course; 28 tons superpave hot mix asphalt base and 1,211 tons surface course; drainage improvements including installation of 22 lf of ductile iron pipe and One inlet basin, traffic striping; and all work necessary and incidental thereto. The contractor is advised That it is the borough's intent to issue the notice to proceed for this project on or about may 1, 2024. Each Bid must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of each Contract Bid, not to exceed $20,000. Surety shall be made payable to: Borough of Seaside Heights and shall be without condition or qualification. The Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all Bids, if it is in the public interest to do so.
