Demolition and site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Barneveld, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The work for which bids are asked includes the following: Demolition Work o Complete demolition of the existing park shelter o Removal of site paving around building o Removal of all materials within the shelter o Utility disconnects o Excavation and removal of footing walls and foundations o Hauling and disposal of demolition material o Backfilling, compaction and site restoration No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates. Pursuant to Section 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes, the minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Questions 6 received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
