Renovation of an educational facility in Allegan, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Allegan Public Schools - Elementary School. A copy of the Trade Contract is included in this project manual. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers' check, money order, or bid bond made payable to The Christman Company in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid as a bid security. The Bid Security of Bidders under consideration will be returned immediately after award of contracts by the Construction Manager. All contractors bidding on work must be bondable and must include in their bid the cost for furnishing a Co-Obligee Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Co-Obligee Performance Bond. On the proposal form the contractor will identify a cost to be deducted from their bid should bonds not be required. Bidders are advised that the Owner reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to reject or declare any bid as non- responsive based on failure to confirm acceptance the Trade Contract without modification. Proposed edits, if any, must be submitted with the bid. Request for edits to the Trade contract subsequent to submission of bids will not be considered. The Owner, Architect and Construction Manager reserve the right to waive any irregularities, reject any or all proposals, or accept any proposal, which, in their opinion, will serve their best interest. All questions are to be directed to the Construction Manager. No direct contact with the Owner or Architect is permitted.
