Site work for a mixed-use development in Groton, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and transportation facility.
Proposals are requested for culvert replacements and ditching along Groton's 22,350 feet (4.23 miles) of town railroad bed. Culvert replacement and ditching will take place on Groton's 22,350 feet (4.23 miles) of Town owned railroad bed. Work should commence no earlier than April 15, 2024 and be completed by 6/30/2024. (8) 15" x 20' culverts need to be installed and old ones removed and disposed of, ditching to and from the culverts need to be cleaned out. Three maps of the eight locations are provided as an attachment to this RFP. A table describing the work needed at all eight culvert locations is also provided as an attachment to this RFP. The contractor is responsible for safety signage. The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all utilities are properly located, marked and identified through utilization of, and compliance with, the requirements of the "Dig Safe" program Estimated time period for contract: spring 2024 The Town reserves the right at its sole discretion to reject any and all proposals received without penalty and not to issue a contract as a result of this RFP.
