Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Groton, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Construction of a trailhead and parking area on Little Italy Road approximately 60'x 100'. Construction activities will include removing and moving boulders, vegetation, and debris, adding gravel, and moving the existing granite blocks to line the parking area. Leveling of the site and adding 6 inches of non-compacted 3/4 " minus gravel. Work should be completed by 6/1/2024. The contractor is responsible for safety signage. The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all utilities are properly located, marked and identified through utilization of, and compliance with, the requirements of the "Dig Safe" program (30 V.S.A. 7001 et seq.). The Select board reserves the right to extend a contract for ongoing services without reissuing an RFP. The Town reserves the right at its sole discretion to reject any and all proposals received without penalty and not to issue a contract as a result of this RFP. ESTIMATED TIME PERIOD FOR CONTRACT: Spring 2024
