Renovation of a water / sewer project in Corolla, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The County of Currituck, North Carolina ("the Owner") requests bids to furnish, install and place into satisfactory operating condition one (1) mechanical fine bar screen and one (1) wash press for separating solid, semi-solid debris and floating matter from raw sewage located at Ocean Sands Wastewater Treatment Plant, 741 Ocean Trail, Corolla, North Carolina Questions and/or requests for clarification shall be submitted in writing to Crystal Owens by email to Bids@CurrituckCountyNC.gov no later than 10:00 a.m. EST on December 19, 2023. All questions requiring additional information will be responded to in an addendum no later than 10:00 a.m. EST on December 21, 2023. All addenda shall become part of the Contract Documents. Award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 30 days. All bidders must meet the licensing requirements under Chapter 87 of the N.C. General Statutes. Small Business Entities, Women Owned Businesses, Minority Owned Businesses, Veteran and Service-disabled Veteran Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit bids. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and defects, as it may deem to be in its best interest.
