The County of Currituck, North Carolina requests bids for Phase IV - Whalehead Subdivision Public Beach Access Walkover Replacement at Herring Public Beach Access Walkover in Whalehead Subdivision in Corolla, North Carolina. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. All bidders must meet the licensing requirements under Chapter 87 of the N.C. General Statutes. Small Business Entities, Women Owned Businesses, Minority Owned Businesses, Veteran and Service-disabled Veteran Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities as it may deem to be in its best interest. The Project consists of the demolition and reconstruction of the existing Herring Public Beach Access Walkover in the Whalehead Subdivision in Corolla, North Carolina. The walkover is approximately 240+/- linear feet of wooden and concrete elevated walkway extending from the Lighthouse Drive right-of-way to the Corolla oceanfront, with various amenities.
