Renovation of an educational facility in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of March 12, 2024 this project has been awarded to Air management Technologies, Inc. $2,034,800.00 for Mechanical Subcontractor and to Leer Electric, Inc. $208,980.00 for Electrical Subcontractor.** Elmwood Academy Rooftop Unit Replacement. The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight and permits required for the replacement of seventeen (17) existing rooftop units. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. Questions may be submitted through PennBid's "Messages/Vendor Discussions" on or before 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2024. Responses will be provided via PennBid to all registered parties. The Mechanicsburg Area School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
