Site work for a pipeline in Josephine, Texas. Working plans call for site work for a pipeline.

*As of 12/21/2023, this project has been cancelled per Addendum 1.* The Community Independent School District is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to perform gas line work for the new Elementary school in Josephine, Texas. This project involves the installation of 4" High Density Poly IP gas main. A. Project generally consists of the following: 1. Installation of approximately 1000 feet of 4-inch high density poly IP gas main by approved bore and/or open cut method. 2. Installation of service lines within the limits of project. (approximately 1). 3. By-pass will be required on tie-in. Location of gauges will be determined in field. 4. Contractor will notify FCC Mark Elliott and Project Specialist Thomas Nemariam 48 hours prior to starting work. B. Atmos Energy Corporation will: 1. Obtain all construction permits prior to construction 2. Identify all LP DRS locations within 2,500 feet of tie-in operations. 3. Determine LP DRS locations have had LP sensing lines previously mapped and documented. If not sensing lines within 2,500 foot radius will be required to be identified prior to any LP tie-in activities. Per LP sensing line Scope of Work. 4. Provide inspection- COMPANY may opt to provide inspection through a third party. C. Contractor will: 1. Provide necessary supervision, labor, equipment, and material to complete project. 2. Be required to soft dig all LP sensing lines on identified DRS locations within 2,500 foot radius of tie-in activities prior to tie-in of newly installed facilities. Per LP sensing line Scope of Work. 3. Install monitor/verification taps on all mains prior to any tie in activities. Note: These taps serve two purposes. First they are placed on the main to verify the line is the correct line (insuring exposed main is an Atmos Energy line and the correct pressure for the line you're working on) and second they are installed on the upstream and downstream side of any pressure control device to insure gas pressure is maintained during tie in activities. A. Taps must be installed on lines at all locations where tie in activities are to take place to insure line is an Atmos Energy line and is the correct operating pressure. B. Gauges installed on existing service risers should only be utilized when you have verified the service is tied to the main, you're working on
