Milton Street Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation The Work is to include furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all work necessary for the construction of approximately seven hundred and seventeen (717) linear feet of 12 SDR-35 PVC pipe, one thousand and fifty-three (1,053) linear feet of 15 SDR-35 PVC pipe, seven hundred and fifty-two (752) linear feet of 15 SDR-26 PVC pipe, one hundred and thirty-two (132) linear feet of 27 steel encasement pipe, and 19 sanitary sewer manholes for the Milton Street Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project in Josephine, Texas designed by Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. The last day for bidder questions will be 4/8/2025 5:00:00 PM CST. After that day and time, no questions will be answered by the Engineer or Owner. Answers to such questions will be issued via written Addendum no later than 24 hours (one day) prior to the bid opening. o 10:00 AM on April 2nd, 2025 Pre-qualification of bidders is not required with the bid. The SUCCESSFUL BIDDER will be required to fill out the included qualification statement of the bidders form. A Bid Bond in the form of a cashierís check, a certified check, or an acceptable bidderís bond made payable without conditions to ìCity of Josephine, Texasî in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid submitted, must accompany each bid as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute such bonds as are required and provide evidence of all required insurance coverage. All bidders security will be retained until a contract has been awarded and executed The Owner reserves the right to accept the bid which, in its judgment provides the most value to the Owner; to reject any or all bids; and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid received, deemed to be in the best interest of the Owner. Conditional or qualified bids will not be accepted. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating prices in the bid, the Owner reserves the right to accept the most advantageous construction thereof to the Owner or to reject the bid.
