No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct the project titled Patching and Over- lay of Various City Streets for the City of Ty Ty. In general, the project consists of patching and overlay on South Poplar Street Extension Woodard Street south to the cul-de-sac; Pines Drive, and Davis Drive. This work will be awarded in one (1) contract. All bid forms must be ac- companied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent(10%) of the base bid. Al bonds shall be by a surety company licensed ni Georgia with an "A" minimum rating of performance and a financial strength of at least five (5) times the contract price as listed in the most current publication of "Best's Key Rating Guide Property Liability". The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent(100% of the Contract amount. Each bond shall be accompanied by a "Power of Attorney" authorizing the attorney-in-fact to bind the surety and certified to include the date of the bond. All bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current Circular 570Listing.
