1.1. The Rural Municipality of Loreburn #254 (RM) is requesting bids from interested parties wishing to custom crush 108 specification road gravel and stockpile the material at the RM pit that is located at Parcel 1 NE 30-27-07 W3 and Parcel 1SE 30-27-07 W3. 1.2. The scope of work is to crush a minimum of 90,000 cubic yards of 108 road gravel to the specifications listed in attached Table 1. 1.3. There is approximately 80,000 cubic yards stockpiled for crushing on site at the RM pit. Excavating of material from RM pit maybe required to meet the minimum crush amount. The contactor will also need to have a jaw breaker available for crushing of rocks on site. 1.4. There will need to be two separate stockpiles established of finished product. One pile 30,000 cubic yards and one pile 60,000 cubic yards. Placement of piles to be determined with Municipal Foreman. 1.5. The Municipal Foreman must be contacted for access to the RM pit. Bid Bond, certified cheque, bank draft or irrevocable letter of credit, made payable to the RM, in the amount of 10% of the contract to be provided with the tender.
