2. List price per yard per hauled mile, quoting each mile 1 through 20 individually.
3. List equipment that will be used. 4. Various gravel pits will be used. Pits must be left in a satisfactory state (confirmed by a municipal representative).
5. The contract will include setting up stockpiles at the Municipal Public Works compound at the north end of 6th Avenue NW and the rural shop on PTH #83 North as well as the 10% PR Gravel Road Project (provided contract renewal with
Manitoba Infrastructure). 6. Work must be completed prior to August 15, weather permitting.
7. Wet days must be confirmed by a municipal representative.
8. A penalty of $500 per day will be charged for every day beyond August 15. 9. Your Workers' Compensation Registration Number and standing, as well as confirmation of Safety Certification sanctioned by SAFE Work Manitoba (COR, SECOR, Evidence of COR equivalency, RPM, or Made Safe) certification must be included in your tender.
The Municipality and the successful contractor will enter into an agreement to establish the conditions for loading, screening, and hauling gravel for the municipal roads (minimum 35,000 cubic yards) and provincial roads provided contract renewal with Manitoba Infrastructure (minimum 6,000 cubic yards) within the Municipality for 2024. The ability of the contractor to perform the service, insurability, and financial stability of the contractor shall be given strong consideration during the selection process.
