Madera Unified School District (MUSD) will receive sealed bids for Plumbing Infrastructure Project at Multiple School Site Kitchens Bidders shall be required to have a valid class A and/or B Contractors License. The Estimated Cost for this project is $300,000.00-$340,000.00 Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check , or bidders bond in an amount not less than ten (10%) percent of the total bids made payable to MUSD. The substitution of appropriate securities in lieu of retention amounts from progress payments in accordance with public Contract Code Section 22300 is permitted. This project will consist of four(4) school site kitchens, but will be awarded as a total project. Work will be done one (1 ) site at a time and coordinated with the Director of Child Nutrition for the order of which the work is to be done. To the extent required by Public Contract Code Section 20103.7, the District shall also make the Contract Documents available for review at one or more plan rooms. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1770 et seq of the California Labor Code, each worker of the contractor and any of its subcontractors engaged in work on the Project shall be paid not less than the prevailing wage rate.
