Renovation of a municipal facility in Panama City, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

**As of June 11, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Project will have the following work: structure/selective building demolition, concrete, masonry veneer/cast stone, steel, miscellaneous metals, stairs, railings carpentry, architectural woodwork/millwork, countertops, roof demo, damp proofing. waterproofing, insulation, fluid air barrier, traffic coatings, caulking, firestopping, EIFS, HM & WD doors/frames/hardware, alum storefront entrances/framing, glass/glazing, folding alum. glass doors, wood windows, fire curtain, access doors/frames, metal studs, drywall, acoustical tile/metal pan ceilings, flooring: LVT, carpet, wood, resilient base, terrazzo, ceramic tile, painting (interior/exterior), signage, fire extinguishers/cabinets, toilet accessories/partition, theater equipment, rigging systems/controls, stage lift system, cosmic truss U-form, audience seating. roller window shades, traction elevator, wheelchair lift, fire sprinklers, plumbing/gas system, HVAC, electrical, theatrical lighting, lightning protection, communications, audio/visual, fire/security systems, site concrete, asphalt paving and landscaping/irrigation & hardscape. The estimated cost of the construction project equals or exceeds $250,000. The project consists of renovations to the Martin Theatre, the adjacent Downtown Improvement Board (DIB) building also known as the Ritz building, and connected Tennessee House known as the Green Room. The work will be awarded in one contract. The successful bidder will be required to submit a list of subcontractors with the bid package for approval before award of contract. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached to the Contract Documents or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Florida and listed as a certified company in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of five percent of the bid. No bid may be withdrawn within 90 calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. All bidders must be licensed and shall comply with all licensing requirements of the State of Florida. All bidders must comply with all applicable State and Local laws concerning licensing, registration, and regulation of contractors doing business in the State of Florida. Further, contractors shall obtain all such occupational licenses and permits as shall be prescribed by law. The person or affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendor list following a conviction for a public entity crime may not submit a bid for a contract to provide any goods or services to a public entity, may not submit a bid for a contract to a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building or public work, may not submit bids for leases of real property to a public entity, may not be awarded a contract or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a contract with any public entity, and may no transact business with any public entity in excess of the threshold amount provided in Section 287.017, for Category Two for a period of 36 months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list. Contractor must ensure employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. The Owner will in no way be liable for any cost incurred by any bidder in the preparation its Bid in response to this invitation to Bid. The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities an to readvertise.
