Description: Project involves installation of approximately 3,000 S.F. of concrete pavers, and 1,300 S.F. of concrete pavement/sidewalk, including removal of existing pavers, concrete and asphalt pavement, replacement of asphalt pavement and concrete curb and gutter, erosion control and restoration of disturbed areas. Additional Description: All Work is included in a single prime contract. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all Plan Holders of Record. Questions received from Bidders that do not, in Engineers opinion, allow sufficient time to respond prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. Partial sets of Bidding Documents are not available. Neither Owner, Engineer nor Issuing Office is responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including any Addenda, obtained from other sources. The cost of Bidding Documents is non-refundable. Each entity obtaining Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office will be designated as a Plan Holder of Record. Bids received from entities who are not Plan Holders of Record may be returned as being nonresponsive. Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to City of Oconomowoc at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to City of Oconomowoc equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to City of Oconomowoc as liquidated damages. The City of Oconomowoc reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes.
