The intent is to upgrade the necessary controllers with reliable and new technology that can provide sustainable and reliable communication and be easily upgradable/ expandable to keep up with the demands of future technology. This project is considered part of a new, central control system renovation for up to (89) separate controllers located at various Town parks and facilities. The proposals should include all aspects necessary to successfully replace, program, integrate, and operate new controllers, to include but not limited to the following: A site survey for each site, controllers, installation, testing and configuration on site,
initial program set-up.
Continual training for a minimum of six (6) months, and any additional aspects
necessary to ensure the ease and success of implementation.
As necessary, install new flow sensors/hydrometers.
Installation within existing cabinets, connection to existing conventional zone wires and
flow sensor/ hydrometer equipment. The Town will be the project manager and make periodic inspections of the work to ensure proper installation throughout the project. The proposal must provide adequate information to ensure the success of the project and include all necessary information that may not be common knowledge to the Town. The work is intended to begin as soon as feasible for both the contractor and the Town, but not later than May 1, 2024, and must be completed no later than July 1, 2024. All work must not affect current watering needs at the time, and it is the responsibility of the awarded vendor to ensure or provide arrangements for watering should a controller not be available for watering needs.
