Beaverdam Creek Dam Spillway Replacement and Dam Improvements Project Location 1. The project is located in Bedford County near the Town of Vinton. 2. The approximate street address is 4700 Jeters Chapel Road, Vinton, VA 24179 The project generally consists of the following: 1. Demolition of the existing dam spillway and installation of new dam spillway. 2. Removal of existing French drain at the embankment toe and install new toe drain. 3. Installation of soil buttress on downstream face of dam embankment. 4. Extend existing reservoir drain outlet pipe.
