Description: Said proposals for the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction, complete in-place, of the following work: A Provide a lift station bypass B Removal of the existing lift station, valve vault, manhole, and associated appurtenances C Provide a new sanitary manhole, lift station, and valve vault D Provide new piping, pumps, valves, and appurtenances E Provide new control panel, lift stations controls, and backup generator F Excavation G Dewatering H Site restoration including paving I Miscellaneous and incidental work as described in the Bidding Documents All questions regarding the Plans and Contract Documents are to be submitted to the Engineer in writing. Additions, revisions, corrections and/or clarifications considered necessary by the Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda posted by the Engineer The bid bonds must be payable to the City of Burnsville in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond. The City of Burnsville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award the bid in the best interest of the City. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days.
