The Town of Telluride is seeking the services of a private Contractor or Contracting Team to (1) collect and dispose of non-hazardous refuse (AKA trash and garbage) for residential dwelling units within the Town and Town Government facilities; (2) conduct the Town's residential, commercial, and Town facilities curbside recycling program; and (3) collect and deliver yard and food waste for composting from residences and Town facilities. The term of Contractor service shall be five (5) years, commencing at midnight the morning of Wednesday, May 1, 2024, and expiring at midnight on April 30, 2029, subject to annual appropriation by the Town Council, and provided that no determination has been made by the Town that the Contractor's performance of itsresponsibilities and obligations under the agreement is inadequate. The Town of Telluride reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any minor irregularity in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the Town.
