Site work for a water / sewer project in Palm Bay, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Anticipated award date: March 07, 2024 All Work for the Project shall be constructed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications (Attachment A). The Work generally involves: 1) Demolition of existing pressure treated wood. 2) Disposal of existing pressure treated wood according to all statutes and environmental requirements. 3) Rebuilding the decking utilizing existing pilings. The footprints of the pier and boardwalk shall not change. 4) Wood shall be: a. All structural lumber shall be a minimum Number #1 Dense Select Structural or #1 Southern Prime Southern Yellow Pine Ca- .25 Treatment For decking, Railing, Cap Board. b. Inspected and approved by owner for compliance and visual uniformity prior to installation. Any or all wood disapproved by owner will be immediately removed from jobsite by contractor, at Contractor's expense. 5) The "Build America, Buy American" act applies to this project. Certification documentation of material shall be submitted to the Project Manager. 6) The Contractor is required to obtain the following permits: a.
