Renovation of a residential development in Kingston, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The City of Kingston is using a portion of its Downtown Revitalization Initiative funds to help eligible residential property owners undertake minor to substantial repairs to resolve building code violations, address health and safety hazards, and make necessary structural improvements. The City has already had an application period for this grant program and an evaluation committee has made awards to six property owners in the City's Stockade Business District. The City is currently working with Hydrotechnology Consultants, Inc. to perform New York State's required environmental compliance checklist for this grant program. The City is seeking quotes from qualified architectural firms to provide Construction documents, drawings, and specifications for the rehabilitation Scope of Work presented in 2.0. The City will use these products for bidding and construction purposes. If necessary, the Architect will revise the draft construction plan until they are deemed satisfactory by the City of Kingston's Building Safety Department in meeting all applicable local and New York State building code requirements and will communicate with the selected contractor on any scope questions. Please submit a quote to provide bid-ready documents, drawings, and specifications for the Scope of Work presented in 2.0 for the six properties. Quote should include hourly rates with a total estimated project cost. Administrative costs for travel, printing, postage, next-day mail, photocopying, telephone, printing and other related expenses and reimbursables should also be estimated and detailed separately.
