The Rural Municipality of Lomond No. 37, located in Southeast Saskatchewan, is accepting tenders to spread approximately 26,900 cubic yards of gravel for the 2024 municipal road maintenance program. The gravel is stockpiled at a site in the NW. 1/4 8-4-15-W2M. The work is to be completed between the months of May to September (inclusive), subject to weather or other extenuating circumstances. The Gravel Spread for the Municipality will consist of loading, hauling, and spreading approximately 26,900 cubic yards of gravel from the municipal stockpile in accordance with R.M. of Lomond No. 37 Division maps that are included with the tender documents. Quantities may be subject to change. The successful bidder will provide, at minimum, weekly reports to the RM Foreman and RM Administrator detailing the quantities and locations of all delivered gravel per RM Division. It is expected graveling will commence on May 1 st , and be completed by September 30th , weather permitting and barring any unexpected or extenuating circumstances. The graveling must be coordinated with the RM Foreman. It is expected that the successful bidder will be available for other RM jobs during the 2024 road work season at the tendered price as submitted on the Bid Form. The Rural Municipality of Lomond No. 37 reserves the right to have their stockpiles piles measured by a surveyor, chosen and paid for by the Rural Municipality of Lomond No. 37, at any time during and/or after the gravel has been spread as a method of Quality Assurance. The contractor shall supply all supervision, labour, materials, equipment, tools, and all other things necessary to perform the work as specified herein. The work in general shall include: o Spreading of approximately 26,900 cubic yards of gravel on RM of Lomond No. 37 roadways from the stockpile located in the RM at the Maxim Stockpile Site in the NW. 1/4 8-4-15-W2M. o Gravel will be spread in accordance with RM of Lomond No. 37 Division maps that are included with the tender documents. The work shall be fully completed by September 30th , weather permitting and barring any unexpected or extenuating circumstances, unless the completion date is altered by mutual agreement of the parties under any terms of this Contract. If by September 30th all or a portion of the work is incomplete, the R.M. of Lomond No. 37 reserves the right to take over the remaining work and complete it by any means deemed necessary by the RM Council. The RM would pay the Contractor for the work completed up to that time. If the Contractor is unable to complete the work by the completion date specified, the RM may take that into consideration when reviewing future tender submissions
