Window Replacement of all windows in thirteen existing, two-story, townhouse buildings located on 13 sites; also, detail and finishing work associated therewith. 46-48 Orchard St. & 56-60 Lowell St. 705-3 39-41 Orchard St. & 49-51 Allendale St. 122-124 Cedar St. 705-2 60-62 Clifton Ave. 135-137 Florence St. 36-38, 42-44, 51-53 & 57-59 Grosvenor St. 35-37 & 39-41 Ringgold St. Springfield, MA The Project consists of replacement of all windows in thirteen existing, 2-story, townhouse buildings locatedonthirteensites; also, detail and finishing associated therewith. General Bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certifiedby the SupplierDiversityOffice (SDO), formerly SOMWBA. The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be lessthan 13% of the final contract price including accepted Alternates. Request for waivers must be sent to EOHLC (david.mcclave@mass.gov) 5 calendar days prior to the General Bid date. NO WAIVERS WILL BE GRANTED AFTER THE GENERAL BIDS ARE OPENED. See Contract Documents - Article 3 of the Instructions to Bidders. The Bidder has read and understands the Contract Documents and the bid is made in accordance therewith. .2 The Bidder has visited the site and is familiar with the local conditions under which the Work has to be performed. 1.2 Failure to so examine the Contract Documents and site will not relieve any Bidder from any obligation under the bid as submitted The completed Participation Schedule, Letters of Intent and, if necessary, requests for a reduction in participation benchmarks or a waiver from participation benchmarks may be sent electronically to: David.Mcclave@mass.gov. No hard copy is required.
