Notice of Award March 1, 2024 The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from experienced Traffic Engineering firms interested in partnering with the San Luis Valley Boys & Girls Club (Club) for the purpose of providing design services and construction drawings for a school bus dropoff point to serve the future San Luis Valley Early Care and Learning Center (Center). The dropoff point is envisioned to be placed along or near US Highway 285 South, aka West Avenue, near the intersection at Tenth Street within the city limits of Alamosa, Colorado. Scope of work includes traffic data collection, conceptual designs, engagement with officials from the Colorado Department of Transportation's Region 5 office (CDOT), and the production of construction-ready documents in accordance with the design requirements of CDOT and/or the City of Alamosa. The Club reserves the right to reject any or all responses, to waive any informality in the RFP process, or to terminate the RFP process at any time, if deemed to be in its best interest.
