**As of May 29, 2024 project was awarded but awarded amount is not available.** The landscaping and irrigation installation project is a continuation of a current under construction project for single family housing complex. The project is located at the corner of Old Sanford Road and Airport Road in Alamosa Colorado. The work includes providing material, labor, and equipment, to refine finished grade, installation of landscape materials as described in bid documents, installation of irrigation material as described in the bid documents The City of Alamosa shall not be responsible for premature opening of bids not properly labeled. All bids are to be submitted on the basis of cash payment for the work and materials and shall be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid amount. The check(s) or bond(s) shall be made payable to the City Clerk, Alamosa, Colorado, as security that the bidder(s) to whom the awards(s) are made will enter into contract to build the improvements bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance. The successful bidder will be required to begin the work outlined herein and depicted on the project plans no sooner than 30 days from receipt of a Notice to Proceed, and to complete the work prior to July 26, 2024. Any and all questions shall be submitted in writing prior to close of business on April 22, 2024 by electronic mail to: scopley@ci.alamosa.co.us Questions and responses will be posted on the city website as soon as possible thereafter. Bids may also be hand-delivered to the Public Works Department, 300 Hunt Avenue. The bid must be placed in one envelope with the name of bidder and bidder's address, securely sealed, and clearly labeled: "Horizon Height Landscape and Irrigation Project".
