The Plant Mix Seal Coat Program consists of applying a 1 inch overlay with a tack coat underneath on approximately 13,841 square yards of street surface. A leveling course may be required and have been identified as such on bid form (No quantity estimates have been given for the leveling course) this is the bidder's responsibility. A list of the streets scheduled to be overlaid are included. Any and all questions shall be submitted in writing prior to close of business on April 22nd, 2024 by electronic mail to rsmith@ci.alamosa.co.us. Questions and responses will be posted on the City web site as soon as possible thereafter. The City has a limited budget for the 2024 Street Maintenance program and therefore reserves the right to adjust the quantities to fit within the financial limits of the program based on the bids received. The listed measurements and quantities are estimates for bidding purposes only. The City of Alamosa reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive formalities and informalities, and to award orders for the items described either in whole or in part, if it seems to be in the best interest of the City to do so. *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
