Per the owner, as of March 6, 2025, this project is in 100% design and they are prepping the documents for advertisement of construction bids. The owner states that the project is anticipated to advertise for construction bids in March/April 2025 and construction is anticipated to begin in the summer of 2025. The General Scope of Services shall include, but not be limited to, project management, coordination, pre-design research, and final design of the proposed audio-visual upgrades. This work will include coordinating with City staff and preparing a complete set of plans, specifications, and an engineer's estimate (PS&E) for the proposed upgrades. Five (5) original printed and one (1) electronic copy of the Proposal shall be provided in a sealed envelope are required. All responsive proposals shall be reviewed and evaluated by the CITY in order to determine which Proposer best meets the CITY's needs for this Project by demonstrating the competence and professional qualifications necessary for the satisfactory performance of the required services. The criteria by which the CITY shall evaluate proposals are set forth in the RFP. The CITY reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any irregularities in any proposal or the proposal process. INTERPRETATIONS OF THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. If the Proposer is in doubt as to the meaning of any part of the RFP or finds discrepancies in or omissions from the RFP, the Proposer shall submit to the CITY a written request for an interpretation or clarification prior to the time for opening the proposals. All such requests shall be emailed to develyn.spekner@cityoftracy.org by 3:00 p.m. on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 29, 2024. The CONSULTANT shall complete all research and design work within eight (8) weeks from the Notice to Proceed. The target date for design completion is August 7, 2024, with construction anticipated between December 2024 and August 2025. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
