The amount of work required will depend on identified re-marking requirements as determined by the Authority Operations and Field Maintenance Departments. The contractor must be available during the acceptable pavement marking application weather months that occur during the contract period. To minimize costs, the Authority may allow the contractor to store equipment and materials on Authority grounds with prior permission. The Authority may also consider supplying materials for use by the contractor. The quoted proposal should specify the contractor's preferences related to equipment and materials storage. The Authority will consider the quoted unit prices and the contractor's preferences and needs related to equipment and material storage on Authority premises when awarding the contract. In any event, an equipment and material storage agreement shall be agreed upon in writing prior to commencement of services under the contract. The contract dates shall run from May 1, 2024 through April 30, 2025. Requests for clarification regarding the Request for Quotes must be made to the Director of Operations at crtorp@dsmairport.com no later than Tuesday February 13, 2024. Electronic answers to requests for clarification will be posted to the Authority's website at the address below no later than 5:00 PM Friday February 16, 2024. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all quotes. Any and all rights and privileges not expressly granted to Operator by this Agreement are hereby reserved for and to Authority.
