Site work and paving for a civil project in Greenwood, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Rehabilitation of approximately 4,800 feet of 6"/8"sewers and 58 service laterals via CIPP lining and rehabilitation of approximately 25 manholes. Work consists of cleaning and televising sewers prior to rehabilitation, installing CIPP lining in main sewers and laterals, replacing or rehabilitating manholes, making point repairs via excavation, by-pass pumping, and pavement restoration. This project is being partially funded by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check of the Bidder or by a Bid Bond made payable to the Owner, for an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the required Agreement will be executed and that a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and one hundred percent (100%) Payment Bond will be furnished. Bidders must also make positive efforts to use small and minority-owned business and to offer employment, training and contracting opportunities in accordance with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in bidding and to reject any or all Bids if it is in the Owner's best interest to do so.
